Perfo Fartistsuva käsittelee teatteritaiteen maisterin tutkinnon opinnäytteessään työpajasuuntautunutta performanssia julkisen anatomian näkökulmasta yleisön kanssa intervention, interaktion, antisipaation, havaitsemisen ja yhteisöllisyyden tunteen työkalujen avulla ja saattamalla ihmiset esiintymään ja katsomaan yhteisymmärryksen aspekteja. Kysymys toisen (’the other’) olemassaolosta kanssaolijan (’an-other’) kanssa on ollut tärkeä alue Perfo Fartistsuvan työssä. Myös hänen oma statuksensa vieraana ulkomailla sekä sekoittumisen käsite ovat olleet keskeistä hänen työssään. Perfo Fartistsuva on parhaillaan saattamassa loppuun teatteritaiteen maisterin opintojaan esitystaiteen ja -teorian maisteriohjelmassa Teatterikorkeakoulussa.
Perfo Fartistsuva esittää näytteille kirjoitettua sanaa ja piirroksia interaktiossa osallistujien kanssa. Fartistsuva pyrkii myös käsittelemään antitaide-elementtejä. Klassinen Fluxus-teksti käsitellään yhtenä interaktion strategiana osallistujien kanssa.
Toukokuun kolmannesta päivästä toukokuun viidenteentoista päivään saakka Fartistsuva tulee paastoamaan, mikä on tavallaan jatkumoa hänen ensimmäiselle pitkäkestoiselle projektilleen, joka tapahtui Helsingissä vuonna 2008. Tämän neljätoistapäiväisen prosessin dokumentaatio esitetään Helsingissä Teatterikorkeakoulun studio 2:ssa 24. päivä toukokuuta.

Inbox 1 on pitkän, taiteilijan ja yleisön välistä kommunikaatiota käsittelevän projektin aloitusosio. Projektin ensimmäinen osio (numero 1, seuraava tulee olemaan numero 2 ja niin edelleen) tapahtuu avoimena online-keskusteluna näyttelyn aikana tietokoneen ja internetyhteyden välityksellä. Yleisö voi olla taiteilijaan yhteydessä tämän ajan kuluessa, joka päivä, kunnes näyttely sulkeutuu. Yleisö voi ottaa taiteilijaan yhteyttä myös muiden välineiden avulla, jolloin kukin voi päättää miten ottaa yhteyttä. Tämä voidaan tehdä sosiaalisten verkostojen, viestintävälineiden ja sähköpostin kautta.
Hanke asettaa kyseenalaiseksi sen, miten viestintä välittyy ja miten tämä vaikuttaa taiteilijan ja yleisön väliseen monimutkaiseen suhteeseen. Tämä tiedonanto välittyy yleensä taideteoksen välityksellä, jolloin taiteilijalla on usein vain itseensä viittaava asema ja jossa yleisön kommentit eivät ole kriittisesti heijastelevia, taiteilija esiintyy vain näyttelyn avajaisissa ja jossa kaikki sekundaariset prosessit tapahtuvat gallerian välityksellä (taideteoksen lainaaminen, ostaminen ja myyminen, yhteydenpito taiteilijaan jne.). Projekti pyrkii luomaan tilan, jossa yleisö voi kertoa taiteilijalle mistä tahansa, lähettää tai kysyä taiteilijalta lausuntoa tai lähettää kuvia online-tilassa.
Tämä idea on muodostunut joidenkin instituutiokriittisten teorioiden pohjalta, jotka käsittelevät taidesysteemien ja laitosten käytäntöjä tietyssä sosiaalisessa kontekstissa. Idean taustalla on myös Duchampin lausunto siitä, että myös yleisö on luovassa toiminnassa merkittävä subjekti. Tällainen kommunikaatio on kuitenkin täysin erilaista jokapäiväisestä viestinnästämme, erityisesti koska se on paikkasidonnaista.
Suunniteltu tulos on luoda arkisto kaikista keskusteluista, viesteistä ja mahdollisesti myös visuaalisesta materiaalista. Arkisto luodaan ilman mitään valintaa säästäen täten kaiken materiaalin merkityksellisenä, valmiina, näytteille asetettavana ja tulkittavana erilaisissa konteksteissa..

Workshop oriented performance in the aspect of public anatomy by which he means: making and doing something with the public. The tools of intervention, interaction, anticipation, perception and the sense of community. Making the people perform and looking into the aspects of a mutual understanding also possible through any kind of art form. The question of the existence of ‘the other’ in the space of ‘an-other’ formed into an important area of his work. His own status as an outsider and the notion of intermingling through performances and actions in a foreign land is an important context he means a possible approach towards the intermingling of the locals and immigrant settlers. He is presently completing his MA in live arts and performance studies from TEAK Helsinki.
Exhibition with durational approach of intervention. He will exhibit the organic elements of communication which will evolve as a duet between written words and drawings, while interacting with the participants, viewers and participatory observers. Apart from innovative interaction that happens with the viewers, there will also be an approach to explore the anti-art elements. The classical Fluxus text will be explored in a duet form as one of the interacting strategies with the viewers. Many issues can evolve while interacting with the viewers on the level of social, political and cultural planes. The exhibition can also come out as a dialogical performance and the documentation will be mostly in manuscript form.
From May 3rd to May 15th he will be fasting, which in a way is a continuation from his first durational work done in the year 2008 in Helsinki. Exploring the passage of “then” and “now” in the foreign land. The documentation of this 14-day process will be exhibited as the aftermath in Helsinki on the 24th of May at TEAK, studio 2.

Inbox 1 is an initiation of a long-term project that deals with the basic communication between the artist and the audience. The first part of the project (marked with 1, the next one should be 2 and so on) is set as open online conversation during the time of the exhibition and is done through computer/ Internet connection. The audience can contact me within this time frame, everyday, until the exhibition space is closed. Beside the computer, there will be a note with all my contact information, available to everyone who visits the space, so each person can choose how to contact me. This can be done through several social networks, communication tools and email.
The project questions the way this communication is mediated and how this affects the complex relation between the artist and the audience. This communication is usually mediated by the artwork, often leaving the artist with nothing but a self-referential position in which: the audience’s comments are not critically reflective, the artist is present only at the exhibition opening and every secondary process is mediated by the gallery (artwork loans, buying and selling, artist contact etc). In this direction the project aims to create a space where the audience can talk to me about anything, send/ask me for a statement or send me images online.
The idea is generated from some institutional critique theories that deal with relations in the art system and institutional policies in a specific social context. It also evolves from Duchamp’s statement that the audience is also a relevant subject in the creative act. However, this communication is utterly different from our everyday communication, generally because it is site-specific.
The planned outcome is creating an archive from all conversations, messages and possibly visual material. The archive will be created without any selection, thus preserving all material as relevant, ready to be presented, exhibited and interpreted in different contexts..
