Dear Markus,

the year is coming to an end and I would like to wish to you all the best for a
fantastic 2010.

2009 has been a great year for the AMI Communities. We have gone through a
metamorphosis which has moved our communities closer to the exploding movement
of Living Labs. Take a look at the new communities which are now named

In Particular note that we are planning the first Living Lab summer school in
August 2010 as an initiative of the new community

Also make sure you find time to join our planned event on January 26th 2010 for
Smart Cities Networking. We are going to join two other communities, the
Eurocities and the Future Internet Communities to join forces in preparing
winning proposals for the upcoming call CIP (ICT-PSP) Work Programme Theme 4 -
Open Innovation for Future Internet-enabled services in "smart" cities.
