The residence is situated in a charming village called Tunes. Its about 30
km from Faro airport and 10 minutes to Guia shopping center. It is very well
located because it is also very near to the train station of Tunes. You can
catch a train from Tunes to any part of Portugal. For instances, you want to
spend a day in Lisbon and you are there in 3 hours (maximum) by train. To
the train station you take more or less 10 minutes walking.
BEHIND THIS PROJECT
This is a project of two cousins that gathered their dreams and know how to
create this residence project:
Vitória, is Portuguese, owns these wonderful houses and has been welcoming
people from the most varied places from around the World; Vitória is known
among the visitants for her wonderful cookings and friendship;
Lina , is a Portuguese visual artist living in Finland and one of her dreams
is to create a place, in Portugal, where people from all over the World,
could meet and know other people, change experiences, register the moment,
making of this place a “point of encounter” for the present and the future.
It can be done with individual projects and group projects.
The exhibition places in Portugal will be
agreed depending on the nature of the project.
Besides the interior working spaces, there are several possibilities of
working outdoors too.
Five ground floor houses…each house has a: common working space, kitchen
fully equiped, toilet with bathtub; There are 3 types of rooms and all are
shared rooms: rooms for 2, rooms for 4 and rooms for 6.
