Nov 2009 – Istanbul-TURKEY

Dear NGO Representatives;

We are looking forward to welcome you on YPNET- Youth Partner Networking Training Course and to work together with you on different aspects and cooperation elements in organizing international YOUTH projects.
We hope that you are as excited as we are with this Project which was started on Facebook Youth Partner Network Group pages. Facebook group collected a huge interest and an amazing enthusiastic youth group in a very short time. About 3200 members from 60 different countries. We want to keep this diversity and momentum which we gained on the web, 2008 non virtual meeting was our first step and here we are with an other opportunity to get together. YPNET is not only based on a ‘one way information-flow’ but requires an active participation from you. We want you to send your partnership forms and motivations till 25th of May if you are interested in. We will apply for Youth in Action programme to the Turkish National Agency on 1st of June deadline.


Target Group

YPNET is for voluntary and professional youth workers, working directly with youngsters.
There is no upper age limitation, participants should be older 18 y. and should have a good level of English. This training course specially designed for active Internet users,

Group size: max. 40 participants (1 or 2 representative per NGO up to the geographical distribution) Please take in to consideration that We want to invite as many country as possible

Only applications from YiA Programme Countries (European Countries) will be taken into consideration.

Aims and Objectives

-Learning priorities of good networking
-To find potential partners for our projects.
-To know better our future partners
-Defining quality elements of a good cooperation
-Brain storming on Networking and Lobbying
-Importance of an effective partnership to ensure Visibility and Valorisation in Youth Projects

YPNET can also provide:
Training on the major priorities of the YOUTH programme (risk prevention & crisis management, inclusion, ICL, evaluation and follow-up...),
An opportunity to meet possible partner groups and to prepare projects onsite with the help of the sessions.


Schedule

YPNET is built on the past experiences of the organizers and is interspersed with workshops, info-sessions, activities to improve group dynamics and ends with an evaluation. 5 days training course (with some breathing breaks) inside Istanbul will be in the program according to your expectations. Exact dates will be decided later for November 2009 (logistical reasons related to the accommodation issue will be considered)

Practical Informations

Project will be in Istanbul-TURKEY as it defined as a bridge between Europe and Asia continents. %70 of your travel costs and %100 of your visa costs will be reimbursed. You will be only eligible to receive funding on receipt declaration.
Accommodation, meals and coffee breaks will be provided by the organization committee.
30 EUR participation contribution will be deducted from your reimbursement.
