Mari Törmä (s.1987) on Tamperelainen kuvataiteilija, joka on valmistunut Lahden ammattikorkeakoulun Taideinstituutista vuonna 2013.

Mari Törmä´s art looks in a mirror of vulnerability and a feeling of separateness (isolation). Inner world opens to pictures in which symbolic meanings and dream-like reality combine.

“I process emotions and personal observations of life in my art. Every piece is like a self-portrait. Dream-like inner ladscapes are born and cross surrounding world. Passing and petrified emotions for which one does not always find words for. I work with what arises from deep inside, what captivates and what one wishes to let go of.”

The exhibition consists of paintings and drawings.
Mari Törmä is a Tampere based visual artist, graduated in 2013 from the Institute of Fine Arts under Lahti University of Applied sciences.
