Aktivismiaiheinen työpajapäivä

Aktivismi ja pyrkimykset maailman muuttamiseksi ovat usein vain reaktioita ja vastatoimintaa. Erilaista maailmaa tavoittelevia yhdistävät lähinnä ongelmat, mutta pitkän linjan pyrkimyksistä tai tulevaisuuden näkymistä ei juurikaan keskustella. Mitä siis oikeastaan ajamme takaa? Millainen maailma olisi, jos me saisimme päättää? Millaista elämää eläisimme? Tulevaisuuden hahmottelu antaa mahdollisuuden päättää itse, sen sijaan että olisimme riippuvaisia sekopäiden tekemisistä.

Sunnuntaina 7.9. klo 11. alkaen Hirvitalolla rakennetaan utopioita. Tarkoitus ei ole löytää oikeita vastauksia vaan vaihtaa ajatuksia ja tutkia mahdollisuuksia; käydä lävitse tulevaisuuden tavoitteita ja haaveita. Päivän aikana toimitaan työpajoissa ja yhdessä keskustellen. Lopuksi tekemisistä kootaan lehti.

Päivän teemaan virittäydytään videoiden avulla. Voit tuoda mukanasi lyhyen videonpätkän (n. 2 min, esim. netistä), joka käsittelee romahduksia ja/tai oman elämän haltuunottoa. Videoasioissa ota yhteyttä: mikko.lipiainen[at]gmail.com.

Päivän aikana tarjoillaan ruokaa omakustannehintaan. Jälkiruokia toivomme teidän tuovan muiden kanssa jaettavaksi!

Come play – The End of the World!

Activism and the attempts to change the world are quite often only reactions or just actions against something. People who try to change the world to a different kind of place are more or less only tied together by the problems, but there is not much of a discussion about the end goals or future visions. So what are we actually up to? What would the world be like if we could decide? What would our lives be like? Sketching the future gives us a possibility to decide by ourselves, instead of being dependent on all the crazy people`s doings.

On September 7th from 11. o´clock am we will be building utopias at Hirvitalo (Hirvikatu 10, Pispala, Tampere). We are not searching for some magical right answer, but exchanging ideas and investigating possibilities; let`s go through our future hopes and aims. During the day there are workshops and conversations. At the end of the day we will make a zine of our creativity.

You can bring a short video clip with you on a USB (a few minutes, e.g. from the internet) considering collapses or anarchy in praxis. You can also send video clips before-hand by contacting Mikko (mikko.lipiainen[at]gmail.com). Videos are used as starters on the theme of the day.
